Position Overview


We are seeking an organized and motivated Craft Administrator to support recruitment and onboarding activities across our operations. This position will work closely with the Lead Recruiter to assist with the recruitment, coordination, and onboarding of craft employees for various projects and operational needs.


The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with candidates, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Work closely with the Lead Recruiter to support craft recruitment and onboarding across operations.
  • Assist with reviewing applications, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Contact candidates regarding opportunities, onboarding requirements, and start dates.
  • Collect and track required new-hire documents, certifications, and information.
  • Assist with offer letters, onboarding documents, orientations, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Follow up with candidates to ensure onboarding is completed on time.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and update recruitment and onboarding systems.
  • Track candidate progress and communicate updates or delays to the Lead Recruiter.
  • Assist with craft lists, manpower updates, and general recruitment administration.
  • Provide additional recruitment and operational administrative support as required.


Qualifications


  • Previous administrative, recruitment, onboarding, or construction experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with candidates by phone, email, and text.
  • Ability to manage multiple candidates, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • Ability to work independently while taking direction and collaborating with the Lead Recruiter and Operations teams.
  • Professional and respectful when handling confidential employee and candidate information.
