Job Summary
The Intake Coordinator will collaborate and partner with the admissions team to assist in the intake and admissions process for clients being admitted into a program for treatment services. This position is the first point of contact with clients, following the application and referral process.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
โ€ข Greet clients as they are entering a treatment program.
โ€ข Create a client/customer focused experience for all clients seeking treatment services.
โ€ข Facilitate the intake process to ensure appropriate treatment for all potential clients.
โ€ข Assist clients with required paperwork during the intake & admissions process.
โ€ข Ensure clients who are meeting with remote staff are placed on telehealth technology.
โ€ข Walk clients back to medical services, if needed for ambulatory withdrawal.
โ€ข Clearly communicate with admission team to ensure clients are moving through the intake and admissions process as quickly as possible.
โ€ข Log into the admissions call que to answer calls between appointments.
โ€ข Manage and screen all walk-in appointments.
โ€ข Cover front desk, as needed.
Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
โ€ข High School Diploma or GED required.
โ€ข Must be 21 years of age or older.
โ€ข At least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances.
โ€ข Must be comfortable working with people with life-controlling challenges, including mental health and addiction.
โ€ข Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage time.
โ€ข Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, and leadership.
โ€ข The ability to live and work by MnTC's culture of honor & core values - practicing compassion, hospitality, respect, integrity, servanthood, and trust.
โ€ข Must be able to meet specific staff requirements outlined in Minnesota Statutes 245G.11 (including understanding of client rights). Reference: Sec. 245G.11 MN Statutes
Physical Requirements:
โ€ข Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
โ€ข Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
Target Compensation Range (Negotiable based on Qualifications):
$19.00-$20.00/hour
