Job description

With supervision from the Program Assistant Director, the Academic/Transfer Coordinator for TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is responsible for providing comprehensive academic advising/case managment, transfer guidance, and career readiness support to eligible program participants.ย  The primary focus of this position is to promote student persistence, degree completion, and successful transfer to four-year institutions.

In addition to individualized advising, the coordinator develops and facilitates workforce preparation programming, supports program outreach and recruitment efforts, and ensures the timely and accurate data entry required for federal compliance and reporting.

This position collaborates closely with departments across Student Services.ย  It directly partners with TRIO SSS team members-including the Academic Coach, Tutor, and Program Support Specialist-to provide a coordinated, student-centered approach to academic and personal success.

This is a temporary, grant funded position
