Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), supports coordination ofthe nursing aide schedule
  • Assists with various clerical duties as requested
  • Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
  • Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
  • Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
  • Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
  • Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident and employee information

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required
  • Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
