$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
1st Shift | Temporary Assignment
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for a temporary opportunity with our client in the West Chester, Ohio area. This position is ideal for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and employee support. This is a 1st shift temporary assignment offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a valued employer.
Responsibilities
• Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Review and verify employee timecards, attendance records, and payroll data
• Maintain payroll records and employee information within payroll systems
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and benefits
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Process garnishments, tax withholdings, direct deposits, and other payroll adjustments
• Reconcile payroll reports and identify discrepancies for correction
• Partner with Human Resources and Accounting teams to ensure payroll accuracy
• Assist with payroll audits and reporting as needed
Qualifications
• Previous payroll administration experience required
• Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
• Experience using payroll software and HRIS systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently
