Job description

General Characteristics
Responsible for designing and developing software or hardware product. Understands business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. Participates in all phases of product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, test and integration of products. Develops design specifications and parameters that are in compliance with productsโ€™ architectural blueprints. Researches, evaluates and incorporates new technology and tools to enhance the product development process. Resolves customer complaints with products and responds to suggestions for improvement and enhancements. May assist in development of product user manuals.
Education: Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of high-tech industry, product engineering and/or IT work experience.
Complexity: Intermediate professional level role. Performs product design and development work for medium to highly complex assignments. Works on multiple projects as a team member, sometimes as a technical leader. May coach more junior technical staff.
