Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Parts Department
  • Support and lead Parts Counter staff to ensure excellent customer service and productivity
  • Manage the parts sales process from start to finish for retail and wholesale customers
  • Work closely with the Parts Manager to maintain inventory levels and source unavailable parts
  • Process and track special order requests accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, availability, and delivery timelines
  • Maintain strong relationships with service technicians, vendors, and customers
  • Ensure department organization, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the automotive industry
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous automotive parts experience required
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with dealership management systems is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
