Job description

Position Description: 
Streamlight is seeking a highly sophisticated Administrative/Legal Assistant to provide dedicated support to our legal department and members of the C suite. This high-visibility role demands a blend of elite executive administration, rigorous paralegal execution, project management and professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
In this role, you will provide broad administrative and paralegal support to executive leadership and the legal department with a focus on Intellectual Property. Day to day, this includes running reports, maintaining patent and trademark information in Equinox, updating internal patent logs, representative agreements, pricing information, organization charts, and Salesforce sales territory maps. You will also help manage counterfeit claims by researching concerns, communicating with Corsearch, and keeping accurate records. The position supports important business and governance activities by compiling materials for quarterly Trustee meetings, preparing and distributing confidential Board of Director and Shareholder meeting materials, taking meeting notes or minutes when needed, and drafting letters and other correspondence. Additional responsibilities include coordinating travel arrangements, maintaining legal files, processing export licenses, distributing USMCA agreements, and assisting with special projects, assignments, and other tasks as they arise.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent corporate experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of dual administrative/legal support experience - private company preferred
  • 2 years paralegal/legal assistant work experience with a focus on IP
  • Notary Public Certificate or willing to become a Notary Public
  • Candidate must possess excellent computer knowledge and be enthusiastic about learning new programs and skills 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Docusign, Equinox IP software
  • Data and website experience 
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining disciplined attention to detail and priorities in a changing business development 
  • Must possess absolute discretion and confidentiality, good judgment, high emotional IQ, unflappable gatekeeping, flawless proofreading
  • Ability to work well with people at all levels of the company
