KLS Earthworks & Environmental is hiring a Finish Dozer Operator. We are looking for a professional who is enthusiastic and safety conscious to work full-time in Calgary. Reporting to the Supervisor the operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment while working around other ground crew.

What You'll Do

  • Operate the dozer and other heavy equipment in a safe manner
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the equipment; including lubricating and cleaning
  • Fine grading and finishing required
  • GPS knowledge considered an asset
  • Willing to assist ground crew when machine is not in use

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience operating a dozer
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Willing to work out of town as required
  • Ability to work long hours with some weekends and overtime
  • Must comply with KLS' no tolerance policy and complete the pre-employment drug & alcohol and fit testing
  • Strong critical thinking, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
