Job description

Summary:We've partnered with a local nonprofit in search of a temporary part-time Office Manager! The Office Manager will play an integral role during a busy season by serving as the point of contact for families and staff while ensuring smooth office operations. Pay is $20+ per hour based on experience.
Location: Fully onsite downtown Madison
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 2:00-8:00 p.m. Training August 10-12, regular schedule August 24-September 21, 2026
Responsibilities:Serve as point of contact for families, tutors, and volunteers via phone and email
Communicate updates and schedules timely
Provide a welcoming and supportive experience for families and visitors
Assist with forms and applications; maintain confidential files
Maintain and update student and family directory as well as other internal systems
Track attendance and maintain records
Assist with planning for events, training sessions, or program activities
Miscellaneous administrative tasks as requested
Qualifications:Previous office or administrative experience required
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience working in a nonprofit, education, or family-facing environment is a plus
