Our newly renovated, 353-bed skilled nursing facility offers spacious private and semi-private rooms, several outdoor patios and dining areas to provide our residents with a comfortable setting within which to recover and live forward. We are currently seeking a Nursing Supervisor to work in our Skilled Nursing Facility. If you are looking for a diverse position as part of a creative, hardworking team where you will make a difference, we want to hear from you!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist nursing scheduler to cover callouts

• Assign nurses to patients

• Ensure nursing operational standards are met

• Perform QA audits as needed

• Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures

• Train new team members

• Evaluate nurses’ performance

• Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors’ instructions

• Handle complaints or other issues

• Keep records of nurses’ files, patients’ cases, and procedures

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven work experience as a nursing supervisor

• In-depth knowledge of LTC/Rehab procedures

• Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare

• Team management skills

• Great communication and people skills

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• BSc or diploma in nursing; training in healthcare administration is a plus

• Valid nursing license
