Job description

Interweave Technologies provides IT technology solutions for customers throughout the US. We are currently looking to add a Senior Network Administrator. This position is a client-facing resource for our company. The successful candidate will develop high-level relationships with clients through ongoing communications that maximize up-time and further advance client productivity and profitability through technology.
Senior Network Administrator 
Responsibilities: 
  • Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills and the ability to self-manage and prioritize a dynamic workload. 
  • Address customer concerns in reference to products and services rendered. 
  • Work on all aspects of IT infrastructure – on-premise and Microsoft 365 cloud applications. 
  • Troubleshoot customer technical issues. 
  • Design, test, and implement servers, networks, hardware, and software. 
  • Manage and maintain tickets assigned and hours billed to show initiative to address items based on priority/severity level. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures that protect data, software, and hardware. 
  • Participate and engage ideas, processes, and actions to improve service, workflow, environment, and culture. 
  • Assist, train and mentor junior technicians. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
Skills: 
  • 7 years experience in Information Technology with advanced problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience in user technical support, network administration, network architecture/design, systems administration, and support activities in multi-user network environments. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office 365. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 product suite. 
  • Experience moving on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft 365 cloud. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in DHCP, DNS, and AD. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with network equipment - routers, firewalls, access points, & switches. 
  • Knowledge and experience with MSP Management tools are a plus. 
  • Security +, Linux, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are a plus. 
  • Knowledge of PBX/Telephone equipment is a plus. 
Education:  
  • Minimum education - Advanced training in Information Technology or Information Security 
  • Two- or Four-year degree from an accredited institution preferred. 
 Qualifications:  
  • Must have experience with IT hardware, networks, software installation, and Microsoft 365. 
  • Ability to create and provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments. 
  • Must have 7 + years of experience working in IT (MSP experience is preferred). 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Self-starter with exceptional problem-solving abilities coupled with a “get it done” attitude. 
  • Exercise the highest ethical standards. 
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and a criminal background check. 
  • Valid Driver’s License and transportation.
