Overview

We're looking for a quick-thinking, media-savvy Media Planner to support the team with smart strategic thinking, strong client partnership, and disciplined global media planning.

You'll be a go-to resource on the global side of the account, partnering closely with media leadership, regional teams, data and analytics leads, and clients to deliver thoughtful POVs, clear recommendations, and high-quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Partnering with media leadership to develop strategic media approaches, best practices, and thought leadership that help clients understand how media & digital marketing can achieve and exceed business objectives.
  • Building a deep understanding of the client's business, products or service, consumers, competitors, and marketing objectives, including sales, market share, and category dynamics.
  • Strengthening client relationships by asking smart questions, leading insightful real-time dialogue, and becoming a trusted day-to-day resource for clients and internal partners.
  • Working closely with regional agency leads and clients to streamline campaign processes and support global media collaboration across annual planning, competitive reporting, performance highlights, and dashboard management.
  • Creating clear, dependable communications across teams and departments, including actionable briefs, polished presentations, and organized client-ready materials.
  • Presenting work confidently and persuasively, with the ability to connect media recommendations back to client objectives and broader business priorities.
  • Analyzing campaign results in partnership with regional teams and data and analytics leads to identify key learnings, optimization opportunities, and concise, actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluating the evolving media and marketing landscape, using research tools, performance data, and category intelligence to inform smart media recommendations and campaign development.
  • Helping clients socialize and champion strong work within their organization and, when appropriate, across the broader marketplace.
Qualifications
  • Four-year college degree with two to four years of experience as a media assistant, media planner, or account manager, with meaningful exposure to media strategy, planning, and campaign execution.
  • Strong understanding of the digital media landscape, including media planning and buying processes, emerging platforms, industry trends, and how brands can adapt to change.
  • Comfort in client-facing environments, including leading meetings, managing projects, developing presentations, and communicating recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate client objectives into clear media strategies, compelling POVs, and polished client-ready materials (deck and document writing/design skills)
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data, campaign performance, research, and client feedback into actionable insights and recommendations. Should be comfortable cleaning, pivoting, and querying raw data inputs.
  • Working knowledge of advertising and direct marketing performance metrics, media research tools, and how to apply them to planning, reporting, optimization, and strategic decision-making.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong time management skills and the flexibility to adapt quickly as client needs, priorities, and timelines evolve.
  • Collaborative team player who can build strong working relationships across clients, agency partners, regional teams, data and analytics leads, and internal departments.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALLE, or Midjourney, is a plus for ideation, research, and content generation.

 Compensation Range: USD $60,800.00 - USD $93,600.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
