At Wingstop, every role matters. As an Assistant Manager, you will help lead the team, support daily operations, and ensure every guest experience reflects our high standards.


Position Summary

The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, leading team members, and ensuring consistent execution of brand standards. This is a hands-on, hourly role that actively participates in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations while providing leadership and direction to the team.


Essential Functions

As an Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations
  • Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift Leads
  • Deliver and model exceptional guest service; resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new team members
  • Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and reporting
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock management
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws
  • Step into operational roles (front-of-house and back-of-house) as needed to support the team
  • Help drive team performance, accountability, and a positive workplace culture

Compensation
