Calling all Go-Getters.

As an Assistant Manager, you help with day-to-day restaurant operations and assist the general manager and owners. Training and working alongside your team, you will also help manage food and labor costs. In other words: mama approved.

To qualify for this rockstar opportunity, you are eligible to work in the U.S. and meet the age requirements and experience outlined within the application. You MUST have experience in management within the food industry, advance management skills, ordering, inventory, labor, etc. Prefer previous Jimmy John's Mgmt, experience but not required. This is not a PIC position, or part time position. Must be able to pass all the required assessments to maintain this position and become CERTIFIED through Jimmy Johns in an agreed upon time frame.

Assistant Managers help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive. This is a Bonus-eligible position that requires excellent availability.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to work a 40-50 hours a week
  • DAY SHIFTS AND NIGHT SHIFTS ARE REQUIRED
  • MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to perform, teach and train all aspects of Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper and Delivery Driver positions, as needed
  • Ability to handle fast-paced situations in the store
  • Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
  • Willing to coach and task-manage employees on store operations
  • Willing to offer opinions and recommendations to the General Manager
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts
  • Ability to stand, bend and reach throughout shifts
