Job description

EFP is seeking a Warehouse Assistant Management Trainee in Azusa, CA

Responsibilities:

Specific supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in supervising day-to-day operations of all distribution centers to ensure efficiency, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop, implement, communicate, and enforce warehouse operational policies, procedures, and best practices across all locations.

• Conduct warehouse audits to identify operational, inventory, safety, and compliance issues, and oversee implementation of corrective actions.

• Review warehouse performance and develop recommendations to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and loss prevention.

• Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP processes, and operational technologies.

• Develop and improve systems for product handling, storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations.

• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to improve warehouse performance and reduce operational costs.

• Research and recommend more economical shipping carriers, freight services, packaging materials, and operational practices.

• Assist management in establishing performance goals, accountability standards, and improvement plans for warehouse personnel.

• Assist the manager in reviewing the entire team's KPI performance and developing action plans to improve results.

• Monitor warehouse, inventory, transportation, safety, attendance, productivity, and labor utilization

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and related business software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to travel between warehouse locations as needed.
  • Warehouse, logistics, inventory control, transportation, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Details:

Pay Rate: $21/hr.+ DOE

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00 PM - 5:30 PM.

Eventually, rotational Saturdays 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Schedule subject to change
