CLASSIFICATION: Hourly

SUMMARY
Management trainees undergo training that will enable them to advance to management positions.
They work closely with senior personnel, learning techniques and gaining the knowledge required to run a branch/department/team smoothly.
Management Trainees may be asked to maintain sales responsibilities for a select group of assigned customers.
Management Trainees will deliver presentations and complete evaluations.
The job performance of the Management Trainee will be evaluated based upon their effectiveness in executing the duties and responsibilities listed below.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Operations
• Assisting with day-to-day operations.
• Understand each role within the company and what they do (example: branch operations, sales process, leadership planning and organization, etc.).
• Provide administrative support.
• Create and give presentations.
• Help managers complete daily tasks.
• Prepare documents and update records.
• Conduct other duties as assigned by leadership
Business Development
• Research ways to increase profitability or improve efficiencies.
• Maintain key account responsibilities
• Grow Revenue and associated profits of select assigned Ewing customers and prospects.
• Establish and maintain strong business relationship with customers, by conducting customer and prospect visits to achieve area sales objectives.
• Perform sales development activities, including (but not limited to) basic project quoting and telephone, print and email marketing campaigns.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; and making recommendations to management.
Professional Development
• Actively participate in the continual growth by completing goals on their Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
• Participate in regular performance reviews.
• Enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Leadership & Communication
• Be involved in conflict resolution conversations.
• Always provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism in all communication with fellow employees, customers, vendors, management, and Field Support Center staff.
• Attend and participate in company meetings.
• Read and contribute to Company communications, including (but not limited to) the Branch Briefs, E-News Alert, President's Message, regional newsletters, etc.
• Champion Ewing culture and commitment throughout all business activities.
• Communicate all operational and customer service issues with the branch/department supervisor.
• Collaborate with all relevant Field Support Center departments and field personnel.
• Participate and represent Ewing in relevant regional organizations, associations and activities.
