Responsibilities

  • Assist in directing and managing routine cleaning, maintenance & repair, including, power washing, slurring, striping, sweeping, commercial painting.
  • Assist in the management of the day-to-day activities of assigned projects including supervising day/evening maintenance crew ensuring completion of all daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
  • Assist with management duties including: scheduling, monitoring and checking of timecards.
  • Supervise the completion of all ongoing and future projects.
  • Monitor and implement effective safety procedures. 
  • Report any known accidents, safety hazards or unusual occurrences observed or suspected violations of Company policy to the General Manager, Maintenance Services
  • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and etc.
  • Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to ensure all are in good maintenance conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and corporate governance.
  • Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other necessary functions as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Education Required: High School Graduate. Some college a plus.
  • Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of maintenance.
  • Ability to perform general repair, electrical, mechanical, and cleaning maintenance.
  • Desire a minimum of six months worth of experience in the service industry (maintenance industry preferred), but not required.
  • Superior communication skills verbal and written.
  • Must be proactive with strong personal drive and proven customer service skills and must be willing to lead by example.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule.
  • License Requirement:  Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands:

  • May be required to stand for 8-hour shifts while managing employees.
  • Must be willing to work in different indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Must be able to at least 50 lbs.

Salary Range:  $62,000 - $66,000 annually per year
