Boca Raton Insurance Defense Law Firm is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of full-time in office Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary. The law firm offers a competitive salary that is dependent on experience and we offer excellent benefits. This is an in-person job where the employee works in our Boca Raton, FL office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Transcription of dictation (must be proficient typist)
  • Scheduling for attorneys, depositions, hearings, meetings, etc.
  • E-service filings
  • Answering phones/Taking messages
  • Monitoring attorney's emails and e-filings
  • Communicating with clients
  • Inputting billable hours in the system

Candidate Qualities:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a legal assistant/legal secretary
  • Strong work ethic
  • Punctual and Reliable
  • Organizational skills
  • ​Typing proficiency - 45-60 WPM
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not a requirement for the job
