About the Role
Hello SLPAs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based positions in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you'll support K-12 students by providing speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll play a key role in helping students strengthen their communication skills and succeed in the classroom setting.
This is a great opportunity for both experienced SLPAs and those looking to transition into the school setting.

What You'll Do
  • Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals
  • Implement therapy plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP
  • Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
  • Assist with preparing therapy materials and supporting student engagement
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school documentation requirements

What We're Looking For
  • Active Colorado SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Colorado CDE authorization/certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
