Job description

Make a meaningful impact in students' lives as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in an engaging school setting. In this contract role, you'll collaborate closely with educators and speech-language pathologists to support children's communication skills and help them achieve their full academic and social potential.
Ideal candidates will have experience working in school environments and a genuine passion for empowering young learners. You'll utilize your expertise to implement individualized therapy plans, reinforce language development activities, and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students of varying needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Holds a current SLPA license or is eligible to practice as an SLPA in Colorado
  • Previous work in a school or pediatric setting is highly recommended
  • Solid understanding of speech-language pathology principles and interventions for children
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to team up effectively with SLPs, teachers, and families
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out therapy sessions and language development activities as directed by supervising SLP
  • Document student progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Adapt materials and strategies to match individual student needs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student progress reports
