Inventory & Distribution Planner

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for an Inventory and Distribution Coordinator to join our team at the Corporate Office in Greeley, CO. This position is responsible for managing inventory movement, distribution planning, and cold storage operations to ensure product availability and customer fulfillment. The role partners closely with sales, operations, and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate stock transfers, support key customer accounts, and optimize product distribution across the network.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates distribution strategies for product placement to cold storages based off demand, optimization and rotation practices. 
  • Manages key-customer and national accounts with a focus on product age and distribution. 
  • Works closely with sales and other internal departments to collaborate on key-customer accounts to ensure customer needs are met effectively 
  • Reviews daily inventory reports so that fulfillment of customer demand is achieved 
  • Generates stock transfer transactions between cold storages to maintain stock balances across network
  • Works jointly with internal departments and distribution centers to guarantee the prompt and accurate movement of stock transfers and sales orders 
  • Responsible of managing the 3rd party cold storage with the department’s highest volume of throughput 
  • Generate inventory transactions, which includes receipts, postings, holds, and adjustments that occur between production plants and external cold storage facilities 
  • Generates weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting as it relates to inventory control processes 
  • Maintains real time inventory accuracy and traceability between SAP and third-party WMS systems 
  • Invoices external warehouses for damage claims and cycle count adjustments 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Inventory Control or Distribution Planning experience preferred 
  • College Degree Preferred 
  • Experience with MS Office Suite - Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills 
  • SAP experience preferred 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation 
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

 

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $59,000-$63,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
