Job description

The Workforce Administration Coordinator isresponsible for providing recruiting, onboarding, and human resources administrative support for the plant hourly workforce. Responsibilities also include providing support for plant accounting processes as well as general administrative functions and initiatives. You will work closely with plant leadership, team members, candidates, corporate NVR functions, and external service providers.
This role is located in our Lavonia GA plant.
Primary Responsibilities:
Workforce Support
• Assist with screening, scheduling, and tracking hourly applicants, including participating in local hiring events
• Track in-process hiring and coordinate communication between staffing agencies and plant leadership regarding recruiting, hiring, and administration of hourly employees.
• Receive and route calls from candidates, answer inquiries about the company, benefits, work hours, and assist with questions related to applications and hiring forms.
• Schedule and facilitate new employee orientations and process all necessary paperwork through NVR's payroll and benefits department.
• Execute submittal of weekly hourly payroll data. Prepare and distribute management reports and respond to leadership requests and inquiries related to NVR's payroll systems and/or processes.
• Provide front line support to hourly plant employees regarding Human Resources administrative functions including, but not limited to, employee questions and requests, communication of policies, leave of absence administration, benefits enrollment, policy signoffs, and pay statements. Coordinate with appropriate Human Resources and/or Workforce Development contacts to support timely and accurate solutions.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential employee records and files, ensuring compliance with all NVR policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
Accounts Payable and Administrative Support (as needed)
• Prepare invoices for processing, including Purchase Order matching, invoice coding, and data entry
• Invoice rough and trim package billings on a weekly basis. Tabulate rough and trim shipments monthly.
• Create, track, and update production Maintenance, Repairs, and Operations (MROs).
• Support general plant administration including sending and distributing mail, ordering supplies, employee awards, lunches, company picnic, newsletters, as well as maintaining current information on employee bulletin boards.
• Provide administrative support for the plant safety program, including generating reports and maintaining and distributing safety-related data, metrics, and reports.
• Cross-train with other employees in the department, to provide back-up support.
