Job description

A location Assistant Manager at TASTE supports the store's General Manager (GM) in all aspects of a TASTE location's complex food service and gourmet retail business. Assistants also serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) when the GM is absent. While all Assistants are not necessarily in training to become a location GM, the Assistant position offers the clearest career track for the GM position.
As the Back of House Manager (BOH), you will be leading and working with the sandwich, salad and prep teams to ensure guest's orders are executed precisely and quickly. You will be in charge of the daily workflow from start to finish, including but not limited to:
-Ordering product and keeping accurate inventory while enforcing food safety regulations and health standards in a clean and organized work area
-Maintaining an effective and positive environment while keeping the BOH team aware of changes, new menu items and procedures
-Assisting other teams as needed in front of house, delivery and expo
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements
-Must 21 years of age or older
-Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability
-Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, with constant moving, bending, lifting, reaching and turning during all shifts
-Must be able to reach and grasp with hands, talk and hear from far away and in close proximity, taste and smell
-Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch while also being able to lift and move up to at least 30 pounds, but occasionally up to 50 pounds or more
