Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Assist Gift Shop customers.
  • Price and display merchandise.
  • Conduct inventory.
  • Assist Gift Shop Manager/Lead with merchandise selection.
  • Open gift shop and check cash drawer.
  • Close out cash at end of shift, and return cash sales to vault.
  • Advise Gift Shop Manager/Lead regarding customer requests.
  • Work with the lottery.
  • Sell entertainment tickets for shows and special events.
  • Work at box office as needed.
  • Return deposits to vault.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Knowledge of steps involved in a sale.
  • Knowledge of add-on sales.
  • Eye for detail.
