Job description

About the Role
As TikTok Manager, you'll own Alleyoop's TikTok presence end-to-end across organic content, community, creator strategy, and TikTok Shop. You'll report directly to the founders and work closely with Social, Growth, Creative, and Retail to turn the channel into a meaningful driver of both brand love and revenue.
This is not a role focused on simply maintaining a content calendar. You'll set the strategy, raise the creative bar, build the creator and team infrastructure behind the channel, and own the commercial performance of TikTok Shop.
You'll have significant autonomy and direct influence over one of Alleyoop's fastest-growing channels, with the opportunity to shape what millions of customers see and how they discover and buy the brand.
Responsibilities
  • Own Alleyoop's TikTok strategy across organic content, creator content, community, and commerce, translating brand goals into a clear channel roadmap.
  • Build content pillars, calendars, and campaigns designed to increase reach, engagement, brand affinity, and measurable sales.
  • Set the creative standard for TikTok by identifying the hooks, formats, storytelling approaches, and platform behaviors that drive performance.
  • Build and lead the team, freelancers, editors, coordinators, and agency partners needed to maintain high-quality, high-volume content production.
  • Grow an active TikTok community through thoughtful engagement across comments, DMs, LIVE content, and emerging platform formats.
  • Own TikTok Shop performance as a P&L, improving GMV, conversion, ROAS, and overall channel profitability.
  • Build and scale Alleyoop's creator and affiliate commerce program, including creator recruitment, relationship management, incentives, and commission strategy.
  • Develop and execute LIVE Shopping and shoppable-content programs from concept and creator selection through launch and performance analysis.
  • Partner with Growth on Spark Ads, paid social, TikTok Shop promotions, and amplification strategies that turn organic momentum into additional revenue.
  • Bring TikTok audience, content, and commerce insights back to the wider business to inform creative, product, retail, and brand decisions.

Requirements
Must-Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in social media, creator marketing, influencer marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • Direct hands-on experience operating TikTok Shop, including affiliate programs, LIVE Shopping, and TikTok Shop advertising or promotions.
  • A demonstrated track record of growing TikTok audiences while also driving measurable commerce or revenue outcomes.
  • Experience recruiting, managing, and scaling creator or affiliate partnerships.
  • Strong creative judgment and copywriting skills, with a clear understanding of TikTok hooks, storytelling, trends, and community behavior.
  • Confidence working with performance metrics including GMV, ROAS, conversion, engagement, and content-level analytics.
  • Based in the Los Angeles area and able to work in person several days per week for shoots, events, and founder or team meetings.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience working with a beauty, wellness, consumer products, or DTC brand.
  • Experience managing or mentoring coordinators, editors, freelancers, creators, or agency partners.
  • Hands-on video editing or production experience that allows you to move quickly when an idea needs to get live.
  • Experience aligning social commerce campaigns with major retail partners or product launches.

You are:
  • A TikTok native who thinks in hooks, trends, and culture - and just as fluent in GMV, ROAS, and conversion
  • Equally energized by a viral moment and a revenue target; you don't see content and commerce as separate jobs
  • Hands-on and strategic - comfortable briefing a shoot, jumping into the edit, and presenting the results to founders
  • A builder who wants to own a channel, not just manage a calendar
  • Someone who takes ownership - you don't wait to be told what's next

Benefits
  • We value culture as much as results - we want a TikTok Manager who inspires the team, not just directs it.
  • We're a high-energy, creative team that pushes each other to be the best version of ourselves every day.
  • Like our products, we're ambitious, overachieving, and always juggling more than one thing at once.
  • Competitive compensation and the opportunity to significantly influence the future of the brand
  • Direct access to the founders and real ownership over one of our fastest-growing channels, your fingerprints will be on everything customers see on TikTok
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Generous medical benefits
