Description
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assists the Executive Housekeeper in the supervision of the housekeeping and laundry department and is a key part of our housekeeping team. Responsibilities include:
  • Supervising and coordinating activities of room attendants, housemen, lobby attendants and inspectors.
  • Assists in the managing and directing of the day-to-day operations of all housekeeping and laundry functions.
  • Promotes teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Must demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and team building skills.
  • May assist housekeeping staff during high volume periods.
  • Inspect all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure they meet guest expectations.
  • In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper the Assistant Housekeeper will carry out the job duties of the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Participates in and enforces quality assurance for Housekeeping Department and department cost control measures.
  • The Ideal candidate should not mind cleaning rooms.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by Management.

Must have the ability to manage people.
Bilingual is a plus.
