Job description


As an Engineering Technician I here at Honeywell, you will work in a test position for hardware support of legacy test equipment. You will be on-site in multiple locations to support test hardware and cells for production testing, but will be based out of Phoenix, AZ.
You will be responsible for daily trouble shooting of hardware and component failures as well as internal customer support and customer communication.
You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Test Manager.
In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of aerospace products by providing essential technical support, performing routine testing, and collaborating with engineering teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
Responsibilities
• Assist engineering teams with testing, data collection, and documentation of aerospace systems and components
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure operational accuracy
• Support troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve technical issues
• Maintain accurate records and reports to support engineering projects and compliance requirements
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• Entry-level experience or internships in engineering or technical roles preferred
• Basic knowledge of aerospace mechanical systems and components
• Familiarity with technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
• Proficiency with standard engineering tools and software such as CAD or data analysis tools

• Internship or co-op experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and quality systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and eagerness to learn
• Experience with measurement and testing equipment
