Position Title: Assistant Girls Swim and Dive Coach
Start Date:
Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the organization and instruction of St. Anthony Village High School's girls swim program. This includes setting up games and practices, supervising athletes, and maintaining equipment. The coach will assist in game and facility scheduling, coordinate team transportation, communicate with parents, and arrange event help as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Program Organization and Instruction:
    • Organize and instruct the team.
    • Set up and oversee games and practices.
    • Supervise athletes and ensure their safety and well-being.
    • Care for and maintain equipment. furniture.
  • Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Assist in scheduling games and facilities.
    • Coordinate team transportation.
    • Communicate effectively with parents.
    • Arrange for game helpers as needed.
  • Coaching Philosophy and Development:
    • Understand and articulate the purpose and goals of coaching.
    • Apply 3D coaching principles: fundamentals, psychology, and heart.
    • Lead the team in annual service projects and character education lessons.
  • Health and Safety:
    • Prioritize athlete health and safety, physically, emotionally, and mentally.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:
  • Have the necessary knowledge and experience to coach high school swimming.
