Director of Environmental Services
The Gardens at Orangeville | Orangeville, PA
Full-Time | Skilled Nursing Facility

The Gardens at Orangeville is seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Environmental Services to oversee and manage all operations of our Environmental Services Department. This leadership role is critical to ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and supervise all functions of the Environmental Services Department

  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition at all times

  • Verify that required equipment and supplies are available, properly maintained, and operational

  • Conduct daily rounds to monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards

  • Enforce departmental policies, fire and disaster procedures, safety rules, and Universal Precautions

  • Lead, train, and support Environmental Services staff to meet operational goals and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in environmental services, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role

  • Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred

  • Prior experience in a medical, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting strongly preferred

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
