Job description

The Digital Marketing Manager will assist in building business and marketing plans focused on unlocking growth and driving visitation to Sun Valley. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing marketing plans across disciplines with a primary focus on email, web, and paid media. The Digital Marketing Manager works cross functionally and is equally comfortable meeting with department leads and digging into performance data.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Digital Strategy and Optimization: Oversee the build and execution of data-driven digital marketing strategies across web, email, and paid media, focusing on optimization and revenue growth.
  • Financial Analysis & Business Acumen: Own financial performance and ROI for all marketing initiatives. Manage paid media budget. Includes monthly performance reporting across all Marketing team channels and efforts.
  • Product Marketing: This role works closely with all resort stakeholders to develop and manage annual marketing plans for each business product line. Owns the front-end experience of the e-commerce platform, Aspenware, and assists with getting all products launched. This position is responsible for analyzing trends and driving growth in the product lines mentioned above.
  • Internal Partnerships: Act as primary point of contact for Resort LOBs listed above to support their businesses and individual goals while aligning with marketing strategies and channels. This role will work closely with the Grand America Hotels & Resorts Marketing Technology, Performance Marketing and Creative teams.
  • Team Leadership & Development: This role directly manages coordinators and specialists. Must demonstrate high emotional intelligence, openness to change, and the willingness to collaborate with multiple teams to bring forward ideal solutions.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive marketing experience with experience in performance marketing and reporting
  • 2+ years in management role
  • Ski Industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and bringing products and campaigns to market
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with experience collaborating across many levels of an organization
  • Deep understanding of leveraging customer data to create audiences across owned and paid channels
  • Proven success partnering with leadership to support organizational goals and people strategies
  • Creative and strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational and process challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, Aspenware and RTP preferred
  • Knowledge of ski industry practices and standards preferred
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching

  • Can safely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
