Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in one-on-one behavioral care and detox experience.

This role requires strong observation skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to provide safe, supportive care during detoxification and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one supervision and care for clients during detox and recovery
  • Monitor vital signs and report withdrawal symptoms or changes in condition to supervising nurse
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
  • Support medication reminders as directed by licensed staff
  • Ensure client safety and maintain a calm, structured environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation in home settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Requirements

Active CNA certification in the state of Florida

Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral & detox care

Experience providing one-on-one patient supervision

Current CPR/BLS certification

Knowledge of withdrawal symptoms and safety protocols

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
