The Personal Care Assistant plays a vital role in supporting individuals who require assistance with daily living activities, primarily within assisted living facilities or home care settings. This position focuses on enhancing the quality of life for patients by providing compassionate, respectful, and personalized care tailored to their unique needs. The role involves close interaction with residents or clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence whenever possible. The Personal Care Assistant also serves as a key communicator between patients, families, and healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes in condition promptly. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to creating a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters dignity and respect for those receiving care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in assisted living, patient care, or a related caregiving role.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care principles and safety protocols.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to maintain accurate records and perform basic logging duties.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of vehicle insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:
