COMPASSIONATE CARE.Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a IT Support Technician to join our IT department. Our Mission: Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and to improve access to care.IT Support Technician II supports the System Administrator and Network Administrator in maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure. This position assists with the administration of on premises and cloud based systems, Active Directory, Office 365, networking, and end user support. The role is responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, printers, mobile devices, phone systems, and data cabling while providing exceptional customer service and technical assistance to employees across the organization.Benefits include:Eligibility for health, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) plan; life insurance; short-term disability; flexible spending accounts; and many other elective benefits subject to plan terms.Paid time off (PTO) earned on an accrual basis starting first day of employment, up to 3.5 weeks per year based on a 40-hour work week.Company-paid holidays. What You'll Do:Support the administration and maintenance of in house and offsite servers and computer systems.Maintain Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, security groups, user accounts, and access permissions.Manage domain file structures and system assets.Provide help desk support by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and application issues.Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, and other technology equipment.Assist with Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams administration.Support network infrastructure, wireless connectivity, and basic networking functions.Assist with phone system administration, maintenance, and installations.Install and maintain network and phone cabling.Support mobile device management and endpoint configuration.Train and assist end users on technology systems and best practices.Document technical issues, resolutions, and inventory using help desk ticketing software.Participate in system upgrades, maintenance projects, and technology initiatives.Perform additional duties as assigned. Technical Skills:Microsoft Windows operating systems.Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 administration.Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.Azure Active Directory administration.Help desk and ticketing systems.Network and wireless troubleshooting.Mobile Device Management (MDM).Basic networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.Desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device deployment and support.Requirements:College or technical diploma in the field of computer science or 2-3 years equivalent work experience.Working technical knowledge of network and server operating systems, including Microsoft Windows platforms.Some application support experience with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft SQL preferred.Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standardsHands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.If hired to drive, a Valid Driver's License is required.OCH is an Equal Opportunity Employer
