PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Level III Fleet Maintenance Mechanic requires advanced experience and knowledge with gas/diesel engines and hydraulics/electronics to perform maintenance on a variety of resort equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting , and repair on all fleet vehicles in an expedient fashion.

  • Maintain gas and diesel engines

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics/electrical components

  • Train and mentor Level I and II technicians , giving advice and pointers to less experienced staff

  • Assist Level IV technicians as needed

  • Perform moderate fabrication projects and custom modifications

  • Improvise and pioneer efficient methods for service and repairs

  • Assist with some administrative duties; finding parts, writing P.O.’s, filing records.

  • Document all parts usage and all work done on work orders

  • Follow all shop safety practices and dress code.

  • Maintain clean tools and work area

  • Manage motor pool and have accountability for damage on a daily basis.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of related experience

  • High school education, formal automotive training, or equivalent

  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications a plus

  • Specialty training such as hydraulics and/or electronics

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Must be able to lift heavy items and work in adverse conditions

  • Have an ample tool inventory: full hand tools, full air tools, diagnostic, etc.

PAY RATE:
  • Pay: $ 30 .00 per hour or greater based on experience
