Job description

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools used to communicate findings to supporting areas within the business.  This position involves developing various business tools and reports to support initiatives across the division’s key functional areas, while also looking for trends and patterns to help improve business operations.  Assignments are generally in the form of broad outlines of desired results and objectives with general guidance.  This role requires experienced judgment, the ability to carry out assignments independently, and being able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis while being the subject matter expert.
  • Facilitates the development of effective business reporting for the division while also identifying opportunities for process improvements and automations to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
  • Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
  • Assist with the design, development, and deployment of technology improvements.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Analytics, Finance, or Business
      • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, dashboard and report building, or business intelligence
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and SQL
      • Prior experience using Power BI for data visualization
      • Strong attention to detail, accuracy is critical
      • Knowledge of database design, data warehousing principles, and the ability to work with large complex datasets
      • Excellent prioritization, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
