Role SummaryThe Junior Data Analyst supports data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts to help teams make informed business decisions. This role focuses on transforming raw data into clear insights through dashboards, reports, and basic analytical models, while developing strong data and business acumen.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, clean, and validate data from multiple sourcesCreate and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizationsAnalyze trends, patterns, and performance metricsSupport ad hoc data requests from cross-functional teamsAssist in documenting data definitions, processes, and standardsCollaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to understand business needsIdentify data quality issues and escalate inconsistenciesLearn and apply best practices in data analysis and governanceRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)Basic proficiency in Excel or Google SheetsWorking knowledge of SQL and/or data querying toolsFamiliarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)Strong attention to detail and analytical thinkingAbility to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiencesPreferred SkillsExposure to Python or RUnderstanding of basic statistics and KPIsExperience working with large datasets or HR/Finance/Operations dataCuriosity and willingness to learn new tools and methodologies
