Job description

Type: Part Time

Location: Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, NC

Overtime Exempt: No

Reports To: ARMADA HQ

Security Clearance: Secret Security Clearance preferred

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure curriculum content and writing assignments are organized, clear, concise, and stylistically consistent, using appropriate terminology and removing information not relevant to the lesson plan.
  • Edit, format, and manage lesson materials, maintaining adherence to timelines.
  • Support proofreading for Mission Success Reports (MSRs) and After-Action Reviews (AARs).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Intermediate knowledge of software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other web-based tools.
  • Familiarity with general office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and phone systems.
  • Knowledge of standard business correspondence conventions, including grammar, structure, punctuation, and spelling at a proficient level.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in high-pressure or time-sensitive environments
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work efficiently to meet strict timelines while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Minimum/General Experience:

  • 2-4 years related experience; strong writing/editing skills.

Minimum Education:

  • HS Diploma, or equivalent
