A Day in the Life of a National Communications Coordinator:

As the Liberty Military Housing National Communications Coordinator, you will assist with developing and executing the company's communication plan for internal and external audiences. Your role will require exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills and experience with creating, proofreading, and editing copy for various channels and ensuring a consistent voice.

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Assist the National Communications Director with creating and implementing campaigns that align with company objectives and brand messaging.
  • Facilitate internal and external communications, content creation, copywriting, and editing for multiple projects that span across several disciplines (text, design, video, etc.) and media (intranet, resident communication, website, guides, whitepapers, webinars, presentations, research, infographics, press releases, etc.
  • Implement brand voice and tone throughout all editorial, digital and internal outlets.
  • Support the communication strategy and company goals by providing or curating content that increases lead generation, attracts top talent, and encourages brand loyalty.
  • Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of campaigns and strategies.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices.
  • Work on projects as directed and generally apply a proactive approach to supporting the entire team.
  • Proactively drive requests to completion, raising issues and concerns in real-time.
Qualifications

What You Need for Success:

  • Two years of public relations or ad agency experience, or experience working within a communications department of an organization, and/or administrative/coordinator experience (event planning and management, executive assistant, etc.).
  • Extensive proofreading and copy-editing experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly creative, yet professional and polished.
  • The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills have a knack for storytelling.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • An exemplary writer, able to write for our company's tone and mission.
  • Up to date on digital publishing and content management best practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Thorough knowledge of writing styles and industry best practices.
  • Proven record of creating compelling content for specific audiences.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights to inform content development.
  • Responsive and open to feedback.
  • No design experience is required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone. 

Pay Range: $67,000.00 - $74,000.00 Annually
