Assistant Controller
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay: $75,000–$85,000 annually (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts

TDL Staffing is seeking a skilled and detail-focused Assistant Controller to support core accounting and financial processes for a well-established Fairbanks organization. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to payroll, accounts payable, and financial record management while working in a structured, professional environment.

This role is best suited for someone with a strong accounting background who is comfortable managing a team, overseeing multiple financial functions, maintaining accuracy across systems, and supporting consistent, compliant financial operations.

Core Responsibilities
Payroll & Reporting
  • Manage weekly payroll processing, including tax-related functions and required reporting
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and support ongoing documentation and communication
Accounts Payable & Financial Processing
  • Review and process invoices and payment requests
  • Maintain organized financial records and support daily accounting functions
Employee & Administrative Support
  • Assist with onboarding documentation and employee record tracking
  • Collect and process timecards and related payroll inputs
General Accounting Support
  • Contribute to job costing support and financial data tracking
  • Participate in meetings, training, and process improvements as needed
