This is an in-office position based in St. George, Utah and is not a remote opportunity.

What You'll Do

Social Media Support

  • Assist in creating, planning, and scheduling content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices and share ideas for new content and engagement opportunities
  • Capture photo and video content at branch locations, community events, and marketing activities

Community Engagement

  • Assist with sponsorships and community events, including booth opportunities, golf tournaments, parades, Parade of Homes events, and other activities that support SBSU's community involvement goals
  • Represent SBSU professionally at community events and networking opportunities
  • Take minutes during monthly Washington County Community Relations Committee meetings

Marketing Team Support

  • Assist the Marketing team with executing strategies that support the bank's purpose, cause, and reputation
  • Provide support for special marketing projects, campaigns, and internal communication needs
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong interest in social media marketing, content creation, and digital communications
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Basic video editing skills for short-form content
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work a consistent part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
  • Experience creating content for a business, organization, school club, personal brand, or other group
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools
  • Photography, videography, or video editing experience
