Part-Time Church Office Assistant

Diamondhead Community Church | Diamondhead, Mississippi

On-site | Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.


Diamondhead Community Church is seeking a warm, dependable, and organized Office Assistant. This person will help the church office run smoothly while offering gracious hospitality to members, visitors, and the community.


The Office Assistant reports directly to the Lead Pastor.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors and answer telephone calls, emails, and office requests.
  • Maintain church files, forms, supplies, schedules, and administrative records.
  • Enter visitor, membership, attendance, and contact information into PowerChurch.
  • Process contribution and approved financial information in PowerChurch.
  • Prepare and make weekly bank deposits after funds have been counted and documented.
  • Receive invoices and reimbursement requests, confirm required documentation, and forward completed requests to the bookkeeper.
  • Protect confidential financial, membership, personnel, and pastoral information.
  • Refer pastoral-care needs and sensitive concerns to the appropriate leader.
