Position Summary

Mott 32 is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences in one of the world's premier luxury Chinese restaurants. This leader will be responsible for overseeing service execution, coaching and developing the team, driving sales, and ensuring operational excellence while maintaining Mott 32's high standards of hospitality.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily floor operations during lunch, brunch, and dinner service.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and support staff.
  • Drive beverage, wine, and signature menu sales through floor leadership and coaching.
  • Monitor service standards, pacing, table maintenance, and overall guest experience.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and communicate business priorities.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication between the front and back of house.
  • Maintain labor productivity while supporting business demands.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company policies.
  • Assist with scheduling, inventory, payroll review, and operational reporting.
  • Build relationships with VIP guests, hotel concierge, casino hosts, and convention attendees.
  • Support private dining events and large party execution.
  • Lead by example while fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience in upscale or fine dining.
  • Luxury hotel or Forbes-rated restaurant experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and service standards.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
