Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell.  The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.

JOB SUMMARY

Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a new facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell.  The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.

FUNCTION

The Cage Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in the successful operation of the Cage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for supervising the Cage operation, Player Services and Sports Wagering.
  • Responsible for guest service, relations and disputes to assure that our guests have a favorable gaming experience.
  • Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests.
  • Facilitates, processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries.
  • Assist in recruitment process including job postings and recruiting metrics.
  • Delegates duties and assigns responsibilities to staff as well as completes and processes performance reviews.
  • Assists in the development of Team Members, conducts interviews and participates in the selection, hiring, coaching, retention and termination process.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
  • Abide by and ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed to safeguard the gaming assets and funds.
  • Review Cage activities and promotions with Cage & Player Services Manager, then communicates the information to frontline Cage team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Cage profitability.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the department.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Two to Five years of experience in cage operations and supervision with a 2-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license and Race and Sportsbook Employee License
