Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

To exchange cash, coin, chips, tito's, checks and tokens with guests and employees.

Hiring for Full Time 4pm-Midnight. The shifts will include weekends and holidays. An additional $1.00/hour for evening shifts (4:00 p.m. - midnight)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
  • Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
  • Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
  • Maintain clean and orderly cage and vault areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as picking up trash or clutter and disposing of it.
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. Safeguard assigned bankroll - responsible for bank until end of shift.
  • Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
  • Compute and record totals of transactions at end of shift.
  • Cash checks for customers and employees.
  • Exchange cash, coin, chips, tito's, checks and tokens with guests and employees.
  • Follow all policies and procedures in the Cage/Vault Department Manual as they pertain to the Cage Cashier position, and Prairie's Edge Casino Resort Employee Handbook.
