Job description

SCOPE OF POSITION:

This position is located at a small casino and has dual roles in the Casino Cage and Player's Club. The Player's Club/Cage Supervisor is responsible for efficiently operating the casino's marketing. The Player's Club/Cage Supervisor is responsible for player development activities, players' club cards, and player database. The Player's Club/Cage Supervisor performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are major duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.

  • Directs promotional events such as drawings, giveaways, tournaments, and other guest-based reward incentives.
  • Develop the promotional plan and related policies for the Player's Club/Cage
  • Responsible for updating slide shows and all electronics inside and outside the casino.
  • Identifies, develops and researches opportunities for guest service improvements.
  • Provides feedback to the General Manager in regards to successful or unsuccessful promotions.
  • Serves as the manager and supervisor for the Player's Club and Cage Departments.
  • Provide directions, assistance, and/or information to guests for excellent customer service.
  • Develops, produces, and manages Player's Club Rep/Cage Cashier's work schedules.
  • Provides training and developmental support to the Player's Club Reps/Cage Cashiers.
  • Monitors the performance of Cage employees; ensuring adherence to Casino policies and Procedures.
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
  • Monitors the performance of marketing and cage employees; ensuring adherence to Casino policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

The Player's Club/Cage Supervisor regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests and operates a computer and other office equipment. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights, and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location, and the amount of business. Player's Club/Cage Supervisor must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.

The Player's Club/Cage Supervisor may be exposed to the risks associated with attempting to resolve contentious issues with guests and staff members.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalency to include Home School Certificate.
  • Two (2) years casino cage or marketing experience.
  • One (1) year supervisory experience.
