Mr. Greens Produce is looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Miami!ย 

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida and Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Job Summary:ย 

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting initiatives. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, forecasting revenue and expenses, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to drive efficiency, optimize financial performance, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis, including profit and loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, pricing, and revenue analysis.
  • Develop financial models and perform in-depth analysis of cost savings opportunities, financial transactions, and business initiatives.
  • ย Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual rolling forecast, annual budget and ad hoc forecasting processes.
  • Generate financial reports and dashboards for executive management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Using Power BI and Excel tools.
  • Partner with sales leadership to provide strategic insights and support corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) initiatives.
  • Identify and analyze financial risks and opportunities impacting the organization.
  • Support monthly and quarterly business review processes, providing analytical insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-integration analysis.
  • Collaborate with business units to improve financial processes, efficiency, and reporting methodologies.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Background in supply chain finance is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint, Power BI, and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software (e.g., Anaplan, PeopleSoft, Snowflake, SQL) is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
