Legal Support Senior Assistant


Location: Miami, FL
Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time | Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Work Environment: 100% Onsite

 

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Support Senior Assistant to provide administrative support to attorneys, primarily within corporate practice groups. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys with daily administrative and legal support tasks.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, travel, and expense reports.
  • Draft, edit, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
  • Maintain client files, contact lists, and matter information.
  • Coordinate billing, time entry, conflict checks, and new matter requests.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role.
  • Corporate legal support experience preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, organization, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain confidentiality.
