A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Software Engineer
Title:  Software Engineer
Position type: Full Time – Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Irving TX (Hybrid-3 days onsite and 2 day Remote)
 
As a Software Engineer, You will:

• Supports a critical Platform Engineering team focused on stabilizing, scaling, and operating applications post-deployment.
• Ensures application reliability, performance, and operational excellence in production environments.
• Lead production support across 20 applications ensuring stability and rapid issue resolution.
• Design and build monitoring dashboards using Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, and Prometheus
• Proactively identify risks via gap analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive alerting.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed microservices environments, reducing MTTR.
• Drive adoption of modern SRE practices including automation and AIOps.
• Support applications on OpenShift and cloud-native platforms with focus on scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams during release cycles for production readiness.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation with urgency and ownership during incidents.
• Mentor engineers in SRE, DevOps, and platform engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in RedHat Linux, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Java microservices, Spring Boot.
• Design observability dashboard creation (Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics).
• Working knowledge in React.js, Apache Kafka, relational databases.
• Develop alert for incident handling (AIOps, ServiceNow, BigPanda).
• Design distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud-native platforms.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:  $85/hr to $90/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
