Job description

SUMMARY:

Provides general office support to the food and beverage department. This includes a variety of clerical activities and related tasks to support all managers, supervisors and leads within the department.  The Assistant Admin Manager must have strong managerial, communication and multi-tasking skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all department personnel duties in coordination with HR
    • Manages Paycom file maintenance, job coding and transfer documents
    • Coordinate new hire interviews
    • Oversees personnel training and department onboarding certifications
    • Coordinate department activities, meetings, and training workshops
    • Manages and updates job requisitions, descriptions, and temp labor requests
    • Tracks time-off/vacation requests for leadership team
    • Tracks employee POS/cash handling violations and schedules coaching re- training sessions as needed
  • Schedules and coordinates quarterly FnB specials and photo shoots
    • Coordinates with FnB and marketing for social media postings
    • Coordinates with marketing of menu flyers, signs, and digital menu changes
  • Systems Management
    • Coordinates with FnB and IT for Agilysys and On Demand POS system updates
    • Coordinates with FnB and Purchasing for Stratton Warren system updates
  • Supervise department uniform plan
  • Inventory Control
    • Assists with special order requisitions and equipment/small wares orders
    • Tracks FnB projects and work order status
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the FnB Area Managers & Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Management preferred
  • Three years of progressive food service/sales experience required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must have a good work history and a good attendance record
  • Ability to obtain Class A Gaming License through the CDA Gaming Board

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Previous experience with HRIS systems (Paycom), Agilysys, Stratton Warren is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills required
